Kansas City International Airport Reports March 2023 Passenger Traffic

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Aviation Department reports that 944,234 passengers arrived and departed through Kansas City International Airport’s gates in March, a 21.3-percent increase from March 2022. Passenger boardings were up 24.1 percent, with a total of 469,503 boarded. Year-to-date passenger boardings are 1,220,360, up 20.1 percent. For the year to date, total passengers in and out total 2,445,928, up 24.1 percent.

-          March 2023 was the busiest month since December 2019

-          March 2023 was the fourth busiest March of the last 15 years

-          March 2023 was 21.3 percent ahead of March 2022

-          In the 12 months ending March 2023 10.3 million total passengers traveled

-          March 2023 marks 25 consecutive months of year-over-year traffic growth
