Kansas City International Airport Reports February 2026 passenger traffic

The Kansas City Aviation Department reports that 786,703 passengers arrived and departed through Kansas City International Airport’s gates in February, a 5.98 percent increase from February 2025. Passenger boardings were up 6.31 percent, with a total of 395,250 passengers boarded.

Air cargo tonnages, which consist of both freight and mail transported by air, for all carriers at Kansas City International were up 1.27 percent in February compared to 2025 with a total of 18.6 million pounds handled.

The number of peak-day scheduled aircraft departures for February 2026 was 157. Service was offered to 45 nonstop markets. There was an average of 37,965 arriving and departing scheduled seats in the market each day. The all-cargo carriers reported 8 daily departures for February. View the full statistics here.
