Delta Air Lines Announces Nonstop Service to Austin from Kansas City International Airport
On June 7, 2026, Delta Air Lines will inaugurate new nonstop service between Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) with twice-daily flights. These new nonstop flights will be operated by Embraer 175 aircraft through Delta Connection partner SkyWest, equipped with Delta First, Delta Comfort and Delta Main. The Embraer 175 allows a quieter, more comfortable ride for customers with modern interiors, larger windows and more personal space.
“We are expecting next summer to be Kansas City’s busiest ever, and Delta’s decision to grow at MCI couldn’t be more well-timed,” said Director of Aviation Melissa Cooper. “The capital of Texas is a popular destination for both leisure and business travelers alike.”
